BAR Assist
Changes to the regulations governing the circumstances in which barristers can give advice now make it possible for both corporate and private clients to instruct barristers directly without first having to instruct a solicitor.
Barristers perform three main roles:
| 1. | They give opinions and advice on complex matters of law and the prospects of winning disputes that may end up in court. |
| 2. | They provide a specialist advocacy service when clients require representation in courts or tribunals. |
| 3. | They draft the legal documents which are used in court, as well as other more general commercial documents and contracts. |
