We match the client with the most appropriate lawyer for any issue that may arise in the course of their business:

by type: barrister or solicitor;
by experience: having regard to the issue in question: partner, senior assistant, assistant, QC, senior/junior barrister; and
by specialisation: our panel lawyers all are recognised as being leading lawyers in their particular field.

Our panel allows us to select the most appropriate solution for clients’ needs. It ranges from large international and mid-sized City firms, to leading regional firms and assorted leading barristers chambers. We also have arrangements with a number of niche practitioners who have set up boutique practices having spent the majority of their careers with larger firms.

We have negotiated preferential rates with our panel law firms and are also often able to negotiate capped or fixed fees for particular pieces of work. In circumstances where the most appropriate solution is to instruct a leading regional or niche boutique specialist, our clients realise very significant savings as compared to using a City practice. Where the Bar can be used directly this will also usually result in an even greater saving given that the individual barrister’s hourly rate is likely to be less than their solicitor equivalent and there are no additional solicitors’ costs to pay.

In more complex cases where the client may require support with aspects of the entire procurement process, one of our team of experienced consultants will work with the client to ensure that the legal advice being sought is at all times commercial and client focused, relevant, timely and in line with the client’s expectations and budget.
