BAR Assist
Our BAR Assist team comprises legal secretaries, paralegals and non-practising solicitors; they provide the administrative support that allows clients to use barristers directly without the need for a solicitor at all; each member of the team is friendly and professional; they prepare briefs; take notes; paginate, index and bundle documents; take witness statements; and, assist at hearings. The BAR Assist team enables Chambers and individual barristers to develop work streams which they can control. The BAR Assist team is simply there to facilitate the clients use of the barrister; they do not give advice, they simply provide administrative support; as such, their interest is aligned with that of the barrister – keep doing a good job and the client will keep coming back to Chambers, using the BAR Assist team to do so.
